QUESTIONS
Q1. How do I insert the sim card into my Konka phone?
To insert the sim card, you need to remove the back cover from the phone and remove the battery. To do this,
you just pry open the back via either edge on the bottom left corner or bottom right corner of the back cover
and remove it. You can then remove the battery via the small opening provided above the battery. The sim
goes in to the small space provided between the battery and the small icon with 1 in it. (Under the camera).
That icon always gives you a guide to follow. You need to ensure the sim card's cut out edge is facing to the
top left of the phone. The sim size is called micro: which is actually the medium sized sim card available. The
sim card should fit perfectly between the cut out areas provided.
Q2. How do I turn the device on and off?
To turn the device on and off, hold down the power key located on the right side of the phone (on the frame).
The power key is the smaller one, under the longer volume key. Hold this down to turn the device off too.
Press the power off icon on the display to turn it off completely.
Q3. How can I factory reset my Konka phone?
Before you proceed – remember to back up all personal data (photos, videos, contacts etc....) – these will be
lost when the device is reset. To reset your device, press the applications icon to open the applications menu
(this is the icon that looks like the number 6 on a regular dice). Now swipe down to settings and single tap on
this. Now swipe down until you find backup & reset and single tape on this. Now click on factory data reset
followed by reset phone and finally to complete it, press erase everything. Your phone will re-boot back to
factory settings.
Q4. Can I adjust the in-call volume?
Simply press the volume button located on the top right of the phone (on the frame) during a live call. This will
adjust as you wish. Press on the top half of the volume button to increase volume and the bottom half to
decrease volume.
Q5. How do I put my phone into hands free loudspeaker mode?
To activate loudspeaker, simply press the 1 st of 5 icons that display under the phone number and call length.
The icon on the far left is the loudspeaker and will go lighter in colour when activated. Simply press the icon
again to deactivate.
Q6. How can I do a conference call?
To add a third person to the call. Press the 5 th of 5 icons that display under the phone number and call length.
This icon looks like 3 dots, one under another. Then click on add call. Head over to the Dialpad and call a new
number. You will now have 3 calls active, including yourself in that call.
