QUESTIONS
Q1. How do I insert the sim card into my Konka phone?
To insert the sim card, you need to remove the back cover from the phone and remove the battery. To open
the back, use the small opening provided at the bottom right of the phone (bottom left if looking via the back).
Just use your fingers to pry it open. Take out the battery via the small opening provided above it, just under
the camera. Slide your standard size sim under the tray. This is the larger tray at the bottom right. The cut-out
edge of the sim card should be facing the top left. Your sim is now ready for use.
Q2. How do I turn the device on and off?
To turn the device on, simply hold down the red end key on the keypad for up to 5-10 seconds. To turn the
device off, simply press and hold that same key.
Q3. How can I factory reset my Konka phone?
Before you proceed – remember to back up all personal data (photos, videos, contacts etc....) – these will be
lost when the device is reset. To reset your device, press the left soft key (labelled menu on the display). Now
press right using your directional keys until you see settings. Press the OK key or left soft key to select this
menu. Press OK or left soft key again on the first option: phone settings. Press UP once on the directional keys
and you should have restore factory settings highlighted. Press OK or left soft key again to proceed. Input
your phone password if prompted (can be 1234 by default). Finally, press the left soft key to finalize the reset.
The phone will now re-boot completely.
Q4. Can I adjust the in-call volume?
During a live call, simply press up on the directional keys to increase volume, or press down on the directional
keys to decrease the volume. Maximum is level 9 and the minimum is level 0 which is silent.
Q5. How do I put my phone into hands free loudspeaker mode?
To activate loudspeaker, during the call, simply press the middle OK key (button between the directional keys)
to activate loudspeaker. Press it again to deactivate it.
Q6. How can I do a conference call?
To add a third person to the call. Press the left soft key (labelled as Menu). Press down until you find contacts.
Press OK key and highlight over a contact you wish to add to the call. Press the green call button to dial that
contact and add them to the call.
Q7. How do I save a photo that I sent as an attachment via SMS?
Simply open the message and press the left soft key to open the options menu. Press down on the directional
keys until you find, save media files. Press OK. Now press the left soft key to confirm the save. Your photo is
now saved to the gallery.
