Safety Screen Kit DS37, DS41, CDS37,
For Installation of Safety Screen Kits for 34", 37", and 41" Fireplace
The Safety Screen Kit contains the following:
• 1-Safety Screen
• 1-Upper Right Screen Clip
• 1-Upper Left Screen Clip
If any of these parts are missing or damaged, contact the dealer
where you purchased this kit. If they cannot supply original
replacement parts, call DESA International's Parts Department
at 1-800-972-7879 for information.
1. Remove the top louver from the fireplace by lifting upward
and out (see Figure 1).
2. Remove the screws from the three tabs at the top of the
glass door. Hold the door securely to keep it from falling
forward.
3. Grasp door by both sides and ease it upward off of the lower
bracket (see Figure 2).
4. Lay glass door assembly on flat surface with the front side up.
Lay the safety screen on top of the glass door assembly with
spline (metal strip around screen) facing up (see Figure 3).
