Do not pull on the cable portion. Do not place or drop heavy or sharp-edged objects on the power cord. A damaged cord can cause fire or electrical shock hazards.

    CAUTION equipment. Remove two screws on both sides of the HVS-GPIO128 chassis and open the top cover plate. The board as shown below will appear. As factory default, switches on the board are set as shown below. (■ indicates switch position.)

    Setup menu to the current ones. (2) Connect HVS-GPIO128 to the HVS Series switcher (MU) via LAN. Use a LAN switch to connect HVS-GPIO128 to LAN 1(MAIN) on the switcher. (3) Connect HVS-GPIO128 to serial control devices.

    4. Setup Menu Network settings such as IP address setting can be changed in the Setup menu. Prepare a PC to connect to the HVS-GPIO128 via LAN or RS-232C. Use a terminal software (such as Tera Term) to communicate with HVS-GPIO128.

    (7) Change other settings, as needed, in the same manner. (8) After all settings are complete, type “6”, then press Enter. HVS-GPIO128 will automatically restart and changes are applied. To close the Setup menu without changing settings, type “7”, then press Enter.

    4-4. Resetting the Setup Menu To reset settings to factory default, use an internal switch on the HVS-GPIO128. Proceed as follows. (1) Power off the HVS-GPIO128. (2) Unsecure two screws on both sides to remove the top plate. (3) Turn on Dipswitch S4-4. (See Sec. 2-4. “Internal Settings.”) (4) Power on the HVS-GPIO128.
