Deleting a text message
The function deletes the text message (SMS)
in COMAND and on the mobile phone.

This function is not supported by all
mobile phones.
Select a text message from the SMS inbox.

The text message will either be deleted or
not, depending on your selection.
Using the address book
General notes
The address book organises and stores
entries which are entered from different sour-
ces (mobile phone, PCMCIA memory card,
COMAND telephone book, navigation func-
tion).
You can use these entries to make telephone
calls and for navigation.

Address book entries are not deleted
when the mobile phone is removed. For this
reason, you should delete your personal
data using the reset function before selling
your vehicle, for example (
