Installing the Deck Belt Guards
1. Loosen, but do not remove, the flange nut on the
outside of each suspension bracket on the rear of the
deck; see Figure 1.

2. Right pulley cover
2. Remove the right pulley cover and 3 self-tapping
screws as shown in Figure 1. Store them for future
use.
3. Drill a hole in the mowing deck using the template in
Figure 6, at the end of these instructions, to locate
the new hole.
4. Mount both left and right deck guards to the mowing
deck as shown in Figure 2.

5. Install the mowing deck onto the traction unit as
described in the Operator's Manual.
6. Verify that the guard is clear of all moving parts
(across their full range of operation), that it
will not cause damage to wires, hoses or other
components and that it will not interfere with the
safe operation of the traction unit or the cutting deck.
Installing the Left Frame Belt
Guard
1. Attach the left frame belt guard as shown in Figure 3.
1. Locknut (NIM6-1) (2)
2. Washer (M6) (2)
3. Hex bolt (M6-1X16),
inserted from inside (2)
4. Left frame belt guard
2. Drill a hole in the frame just in front of the left rear
wheel. Use the hole in the left frame belt guard as a
guide; see Figure 4.
Important: There is a bundle of wires on the
back side of the frame where you are drilling.
Move it clear of the drill location prior to drilling
the hole.
