    Setup and Operation Uncrating SECTION 3 SETUP AND OPERATION Uncrating When your Wood-Mizer Wood Splitter arrives, it will be mostly assembled. If any parts are missing, please contact Wood-Mizer support at 1-800-525-8100. IMPORTANT! Install the tongue first to stabilize the entire unit before unloading the main frame.

    Setup and Operation General Transportation General Transportation IF PREVIOUSLY WORKING UNHITCHED FROM THE TOWING VEHICLE: 1. Close the output tray and pin it for transport. 2. If using the optional log lift, raise the lower section of the log lift platform, and pin it for transport.

NOTE: For best practices when operating the unit unhitched from the towing vehicle, place counterbalance weights on the tongue for added stability. Operating while hitched to the towing vehicle offers the best stability.
