Note
Before you begin, install and configure your chassis and controller.
This document explains how to install, configure, and test the NI PXIe-5696 (NI 5696) as a
20 GHz amplitude extender (AE) module to the NI PXIe-5654 (NI 5654) RF signal generator.
The NI 5696 ships with the NI-RFSG instrument driver, which you use to program the device.
Note
The NI 5696 AE module is supported for use with only the NI 5654 RF
signal generator.
