Changing the Settings

Using the Setup menu, you can adjust
the type size, automatic shutoff time, and
screen contrast. The automatic shutoff
time is how long your BOOKMAN stays
on if you forget to turn it off.
1. Press
CLEAR
2. Use the arrow keys to highlight
Set Type Size, Set Shutoff, or Set
Contrast on the Setup menu.
The slanted arrow indicates a submenu.

Searching for Words
You can find quotations by searching
for virtually any words that occur in
quotations. You can also search for
authors' names. Searching for words
is sometimes the quickest way to
find the quotation you want.
