    Joint Cementing Procedure Venting Practices All cementing of joints should be done according to the Piping Suspension Guidelines specifications outlined in ASTM D 2855. NOTE - A sheet metal screw may be used to secure the SCHEDULE 40 intake pipe to the connector, if desired. Use a drill or self PVC - 5' tapping screw to make a pilot hole.
