The rack-mount model, VNUC-PCV8-RK is a 1 RU unit; the VNUC-PCV8 is a ITX mini chassis (desk-top unit). These units meet requirements for an FCC Class A computing device and CE Vicon requires the use of line conditioners, voltage regulators and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems in the electrical power service. Note Read all instructions before beginning the installation.

This is why the ViconNet system is designed in a way that will allow it full operation even if the Nucleus is down.
