Front Panel Control: RS-232 Command Set It is possible, to control the MediaConverter via the RS-232 port. The Baud rate is fixed to 56700 Baud, 8 bit 1 stop bit, no parity. You will need a one to one cable with a female connector for the PC side and a male connector for the MediaConverter side. -

If the command value requests a status or time code or other value, the data byte will contain this value. If only a command was sent to the MediaConverter which is not requesting any information, the value will be sent back in it’s original format. -
