10.3.3 Outdoor DC fan motor fault
Outdoor display LED1 flash 9 times
Method of DC fan motor is detected by checking the fan running condition and so on
Supposed DC fan motor protection dues to the DC fan motor faulty
Causes DC fan motor protection dues to faulty PCB
Troubleshooting * Caution Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector,
may be occurred.
Check whether Terminal on the outdoor
mainboard is well inserted.
Power on the unit and turn into Cool
mode. check whether the motor can
running
Measure whether the voltage between 3
and 6 is 0-5V approx.
The motor of the outdoor unit is damaged
and needs replacing.

NO Fasten the connection

1.Measure whether the voltage between 1 and 3 of the
motor socket on the PCB is DC310V approx.
2.Measure whether the voltage between 3 and 4 of the
socket is DC15V approx.
3.Measurewhether the voltage between 5 and 3 of the
socket is 0-6v approx.

The mainboard of the outdoor unit is
damaged and needs replacing
