Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge
During normal operating conditions the gauge (Figure 4)
should be in the green range. Check the cooling system
if the gauge goes to the yellow or red range.
Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light
The light (Figure 4) illuminates when the engine oil
pressure is dangerously low.
Charge Indicator
The charge indicator (Figure 4) illuminates when the
system charging circuit malfunctions.
Key Switch
The key switch (Figure 4) has three positions: Off,
On/Preheat, and Start.

PTO Switch
The PTO switch (Figure 4) has two positions: Out
(start) and In (stop). Pull the PTO button out to engage
the cutting unit blades. Push in the button to disengage
the cutting unit blades.
Flow Divider Switch (optional)
When operating in mow (low) speed, press and hold
flow divider switch (Figure 4) to enhance traction drive
performance in compromised operating conditions.
Hi-Lo Speed Control
The switch (Figure 4) allows the speed range to increase
for transport of the machine. Cutting decks will not
operate in high range. Also, the decks cannot be lowered
from the transport position when the switch is in the
high range. If the switch is moved from LO to HI with
the cutting decks down and/or PTO on and/or cruise
control engaged, the transmission will not change to HI.
For the change to be accomplished, the switch must be
moved to LO and all the requirements satisfied.
Lift Switches
The lift switches (Figure 4) raise and lower the cutting
units. Press the switches forward to lower the cutting
units and backward to raise the cutting units. When
starting the machine, with the cutting units in the down
position, press the lift switch down to allow the cutting
units to float and mow.
Note: The decks will not lower while in the HI speed
range and they will not raise or lower if the operator is
out of the seat when the engine is running.
Throttle Control
Move the control (Figure 4) forward to increase the
engine speed and rearward to decrease the speed.
Light Switch
Press the lower edge of the switch (Figure 4) to turn on
the lights. Press the upper edge of the switch to turn
off the lights.
Glow Plug Indicator Light
When lit, the glow plug indicator light (Figure 4)
indicates that the glow plugs are on.
