The Main RF antenna must be mounted such that there is a separation distance
of at least 20 cm (8 inches) between the antenna and the body of the user or any
nearby persons.
For the MP modem, the maximum gain for the AP antenna must not exceed 3
dBi, and the AP antenna must be professionally installed with a separation
distance of at least 20 cm away from the Main RF antenna, per FCC Part 15
requirements.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A
digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual,
may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference at his own expense.

Important Note

To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antenna used for
the WiFi transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least
20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction
with any other antenna or transmitter."

Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment.
Antenna Considerations
Although the antenna model(s) used with these devices meet(s) the Industry
Canada Radio Frequency requirements, it is possible that the future customers
may swap them for different ones without network provider's knowledge and
approval. Such customers must be made aware of, and follow, the Radio
Frequency requirements applied in this Technical Approval:
