Cable Diagnostics Feature

Cable diagnostics is a feature for examining the quality and the characteristics of a network cable that has been connected
to the DGE-530T. This feature will make it possible for the user to detect and report potential cabling issues such as cabling
opens, cable shorts and impedance mismatches. The distance of the fault can be reported to within one meter. To access this
feature, double-click the utility icon in the lower-right corner on the task bar or from the start menu (click Start > All.Programs
> DLink > Diagnostics > Diagnostics.Utility).
To start the diagnostic, first disconnect the cable from the remote end node so there is just an open cable connected to the
DGE-530T. Then check the boxes of the items you want tested and click Start.Test. The status of the test will be displayed upon
completion of the test.
