Bypassing the Transmission
Pump

Use an 8 mm (5/16 inch) hex key to rotate
the 2 socket head plugs for the transmission
pump-relief valves counterclockwise 3 full turns
(Figure
35).
Important:
You must manually steer the
machine while it is towed. When the engine
is shut off, there is no hydraulic steering
assist—steering the machine feels heavy.
