Heating of beverages in a microwave can result in delayed eruptive
boiling, therefore care must be taken when handling the container.
Take the following precautions:
• Always stir liquids, before and after cooking.
• Allow them to stand.
• Use containers that are wider at the top than at the bottom.
preparing food for babies
Extra care must be taken when preparing food or drink for babies
and small children.
• Always test the food or liquid temperature before feeding it to the
baby.
• When using a baby bottle, ensure the teat is removed before
heating.
• The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars are to be
stirred or shake, and the temperature is to be checked before
consumption, in order to avoid burns.

During cooking the outer surface will become hot. Do not
touch the outer casing of the microwave. Care should be
taken not to store any items on top of your microwave.
