CAUTION
y Disconnect the power cord first, and then move or install the
monitor. Otherwise, electric shock may occur.
y If you install the monitor on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and
result in severe injury.
y Use an authorised LG wall mount and contact the local dealer or
qualified personnel.
y Do not overtighten the screws as this may cause damage to the
monitor and void your manufacturer's warranty.
y Use the screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any
damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are
not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
y Screw length from outer surface of back cover should be under 8
mm.

y Use the screws that are listed on the VESA standard screw
specifications.
y The wall mount kit includes an installation manual and necessary
parts.
y The wall mount bracket is not provided. You can obtain additional
accessories from your local dealer.
y The length of screws may differ depending on the wall mount.
Make sure to use the proper length.
y For more information, refer to the manual supplied with the wall
mount.

CONNECTIONS (NOTIFICATIONS)

Your monitor supports the
speakers with Virtual Surround that reproduces sound clearly with a
rich bass.

: The function when a PC recognises a connected
device that users connect to a PC and turn on, without device
configuration or user intervention.
NOTE
y For the best picture quality, connect the external device and the
monitor with the HDMI cable.
y The monitor may flicker when turned on in an area where the
temperature is low. This is normal.
y Sometimes red, green, or blue spots may appear on the screen.
This is normal.
y Do not press the screen for a prolonged time. This may cause image
distortion.
y Do not display a still image on the screen for a prolonged time. This
may cause image retention. Use a screensaver if possible.
Other connections
Some separate cables are not provided. For the best picture and audio
quality, connect the external device and the monitor with the HDMI
cable.
y USB port supports 0.5 A electric current. If you need more electric
current in case of HDD, use the separate power adaptor.
Connecting to a PC
NOTE
y If you want to use HDMI-PC mode, you must set the [Input Label]
to [PC] mode.
y The OSD (On Screen Display) is displayed on the screen as shown
below.
- When turning the product on in HDMI input.
- When switching to HDMI input.

y If you select "[Yes]" the size and image quality are optimised for
your PC.
y If you select "[No]" the size and image quality are optimised for the
AV device (DVD player, set-top box).
y If you select "[Do not show message again]" this message does not
appear until the monitor is reset. You can change the set value in
[Input Label].
