7.6 Parameter PROFIsafe host diagnosis code

The parameter DiagCode is divided into two categories.
- 16#8XXX for states of communication with transmission
- 16#CXXX error states
7.6.1

States of communication with transmission

The diagnosis code can have the following values in the states of
communication with transmission: DiagCode = 16#80XX.
XX includes the state of the PROFIsafe host according to
"F-host state diagram" of the PROFIsafe specification.

DiagCode Description
16#8001 (Initialization) "System start": Initial state of the PROFIsafe host after system start.
16#8002 (Initialization) "Prepare Message": Preparation of the next message for the F-device.
16#8003 (Initialization) "Await Device Ack": Awaiting the response of the F-device
16#8004 (Initialization) "Check Device Ack": Checking the response of the F-device
(CRC, consecutive number, F-device error)
16#8005 (Data exchange) "Prepare Message": Preparation of the next message for the
F-device.
16#8006 (Data exchange) "Await Device Ack": Awaiting the response of the F-device
16#8007 (Data exchange) "Check Device Ack": Checking the response of the F-device
(CRC, consecutive number, F-device error)

Error states

Errors are assigned to three error categories.
1. Error category 16#C0XX (highest priority)
2. Error category 16#C1XX
3. Error category 16#C2XX (lowest priority)
If there are two simultaneous errors in the PROFIsafe host, only the error with the
highest priority is displayed.
Configuration and initialization errors of the PROFIsafe host (DiagCode 16#C0XX)
DiagCode Description
16#C000 Invalid call of the PROFIsafe host stack
16#C001 Indicator to the F-parameters is invalid
16#C002 Invalid values of the instance data
16#C003 Number of F-parameters is incorrect
16#C004 Configured length of the CRC is not supported (only PROFIsafe V2 is supported)
16#C005 Number of F-parameters is invalid
16#C006 Length of the F-parameters does not correspond to the F-parameter F_Block_ID
16#C007 PROFIsafe host version is not supported (only PROFIsafe V2 is supported)
16#C008 Invalid value for F-parameter F_Par_CRC
16#C020 Invalid length of the I/O telegrams (4 <= telegram length <= 12)
16#C030 The underlying I/O system could not be initialized. An internal error has occurred in
the configuration data.
