Reemplazo de la aguja

Importante: Apague el interruptor principal antes de
colocar o quitar la aguja.
- Reemplace la aguja ni bien comience a cortar el hilo
o a saltear puntadas.
- Seleccione el tipo y tamaño correcto de aguja para la
tela a coser.
- Gire la manivela hacia usted hasta que la aguja esté
en su posición más alta.
- Afloje el tornillo sujetador de la aguja (A) y ajústelo
nuevamente después de insertar la nueva aguja.

- La parte plana de la aguja debe estar para atrás (B).
(Fig. 1)
- Empuje la aguja hacia arriba (C) todo lo posible
dentro del soporte (D). (Fig. 1)
- Ajuste firmemente el tornillo de sujeción.
Nota: La aguja de costura debe estar siempre derecha y
afilada para una costura uniforme. (Fig. 2)
Reemplace la aguja cuando esté:
- Doblada (E)
- Desafiliada (F)
- Con la punta dañada (G)

Changing the needle

Important: Turn the power switch to the "O" position
before inserting or removing the needle.
- Replace the needle at the first sign of thread
breakage or skipped stitches.
- Select the correct type and size of needle for the
fabric being sewn.
- Turn the handwheel towards you until the needle is
at its highest position.
- Loosen the needle clamp (A) and tighten again after
inserting a new needle. (Fig. 1)
- The flat side of the needle shaft should be facing
away from you (B). (Fig. 1)
- Push the needle up (C) into the needle clamp as far
as it will go (D). (Fig. 1)
- Tighten the needle clamp screw firmly.
Note: The sewing needle must always be straight and
sharp for smooth sewing. (Fig. 2)
Replace the needle if it is:
- Bent (E)
- Blunt (F)
- Point is damaged (G)
Remplacement de l'aiguille
Important : Mettez l'interrupteur à la position « O »
avant d'insérer ou de retirer l'aiguille.
- Remplacez l'aiguille au premier signe de bris de fil
ou de points sautés.
- Choisissez la taille et le type d'aiguille
correspondants au tissu à coudre.
- Tournez le volant vers vous jusqu'à ce que l'aiguille
se trouve à sa position supérieure..
- Desserrez la pince de l'aiguille (A) et resserrez-la
après avoir inséré la nouvelle aiguille. (Fig. 1)
- Le côté plat de l'aiguille doit être en direction
opposée de votre personne (B). (Fig. 1)
- Poussez l'aiguille vers le haut (C) dans la pince
d'aiguille, aussi loin que possible (D). (Fig. 1)
- Serrez fermement la vis de la pince d'aiguille.
Remarque : Pour une couture aisée, l'aiguille de
couture doit toujours être droite et pointue. (Fig. 2)
Remplacez l'aiguille si elle est :
- Courbée (E)
- Émoussée (F)
- Endommagée à la pointe (G)
