Using the winch intensively over a
long period of time may discharge the
battery.
The following tips will help to reduce
the risk of discharging the battery:
Unwind manually: Unlock the cable
using the handle then pull on the hook
strap to unreel.
It is recommended to let the engine
run while winching or rewinding. Do
not stop the engine immediately after
winching to let battery recharge.
Also, when winching for more than 30
seconds, it is recommended to in-
crease engine RPM in the range of
3000 RPM to increase charging power
to the battery.
