Align battery 2 as indicated
by the diagram in the
compartment, and slide it
in until it snaps into place.

Make sure the bat ter y
t r a y l a t c h i s r o t a t e d
co u n t e r c l o c k w i s e a n d
slide the battery tray into
the grip. Rotate the latch
clockwise and reposition it
so it's flush with the side of
the grip, then turn on the
camera and grip.

To remove battery 1, pull the
battery toward the springs and
lift the battery up and out of the
compartment.
