INSTALLING AND REMOVING THE BATTERY Battery Latch WARNING: Avoid accidentally starting the unit. Trimming line can be released from the cutting head without stopping the motor. To release more line, lightly tap the bump knob on the ground (Fig. 10) while operating the unit at high speed. For best results, tap the bump knob on bare ground or hard soil.

Always allow the unit to cool before maintaining the unit. Before maintaining the battery charger, always unplug it from the power outlet. -
