IV. Starting the Engine
1. Turn the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position. If the engine is hot from use, leave
the choke lever in the "RUN" position.
2. Move throttle lever to the left a little.
3. Starting the engine
a.
Turn the engine switch to the "ON" (START) position.
b. Pull the recoil starter grip lightly until resistance is felt, then pull briskly.
Don't allow the recoil starter grip to snap back against the engine. Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter
