Rice
Pilaf
Ingredients
2 cups long-grain rice
2 tbsp. butter
½ small onion, diced small
4 cups chicken broth
1 bay leaf
1 sprig thyme

Directions
1.
Place the Inner Pot in the appliance.

Select the Rice setting.

Rinse the rice.
Add the butter and onion and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the rice and coat with the butter and onion.
6.
Add the broth, thyme, and bay leaf.
7.
Cover with the Glass Lid.
8.
The rice can be served immediately when the
cooking process is complete or the rice can be kept
warm in the appliance. Remove the bay leaf and thyme
before serving.
