I was trying to cut a dado in some boards and my blade won't stay at a certain height, (it keeps lowering in height), I tried to lock it in like the manual says but it wont lock. Is there an adjustment on it?

To adjust the blade height on a Hercules HE77, use the blade height adjuster knob. However, the mechanism does not lock securely in place, which may allow the blade to move during use. There is a detent that helps resist movement, but it's not a true lock. Because of this, the blade may lower slightly while cutting, especially with a dado stack. To minimize movement, ensure the adjuster is fully tightened and monitor it during use.
