4.9 Charger Troubleshooting

LGP768 micro USB is located at the side of the terminal set, charging current flows from external micro USB Connector
directly to the battery. The charger IC maximum charging current is set around 850mA.
Charging Procedure
- Connect TA or u-USB Cable
- Control the charging current by MAX8971 IC
(TA or USB -> OVP IC,MAX14528 -> Charger IC, MAX8971)
- Charging current flows into the battery
Troubleshooting Check Point
- Connection of TA or USB Cable
- Charging current path (MAX8971)
- Battery
During charging operation test point signal goes low and when stop charging goes high.
LGE Internal Use Only
R760 (pull-up resistor),
CHARGE_IRQ_N
(not VSEL_1.8V point of R760)
