Checking the condensate drain of the internal device

Accumulations of condensate
can result in equipment
damage.
Ensure that the condensate
drains off correctly.
Fill the condensate pan of the internal
device with water.

Checking the free rotation of the external fan

Danger
Unintentional starting of the fan
can lead to severe injuries.
Isolate the unit from the power
supply, check that it is no
longer 'live' and safeguard
against unauthorised recon-
nection.

Further work on the refrigeration cir-
cuit must only be carried out by a qua-
lified refrigeration engineer.
Should the water not drain fully
through the drain hose of the internal
device:
Check the horizontal level of the
internal device (the condensate pan
must have a slope).
Check the drain of the condensate
pan for blockages.
Check the drain line. The slope
must be at least 2 % along the entire
drain line.
1. Remove the front grille from the
external unit.
2. Turn the fan by hand.
