Cleaning the plastic duct system (flat)

Use special cleaning tools for cleaning
the ducts of the plastic duct system, e.g.
Lamers cleaning set, see

Checking the condensate drain

Please note
Twisting the condensate drain
elbow will lead to leaks in the con-
nection to the condensate pan.
Never twist the condensate drain
elbow.
1. Check that the condensate drains off
freely; if necessary, clean the con-
densate pan, siphon/water seal.
Installing a countercurrent heat exchanger and closing the
Vitovent
!

Please note
Mechanical stress can result
in damage to the fins of the
countercurrent heat
exchanger.
Never touch the plastic fins of
the countercurrent heat
exchanger.
Push the countercurrent heat
exchanger into the Vitovent 300
using the plastic handle.

Instructing the system user

The system installer must hand the oper-
ating instructions to the system user and
instruct the user in the operation of the
system.

2. Check the condensate drain hose for
seating and tightness at the conden-
sate drain elbow (see Fig. on
page 38).
3. Check for leaks at the condensate
drain elbow to the condensate pan.
2. Close the l.h. door of the appliance
and secure with screws.
3. Lock the r.h. door of the appliance
into place.
