Avoiding faulty operation (HOLD) (19 page)
When you are operating the unit on a train or when you are carrying it with the power off, this function allows you to
prevent faulty operation due to accidental key operation. (Both the main unit and remote control unit should be
carried with the HOLD function engaged.)
÷ Slide the HOLD switch in the direction indicated by the arrow.
Repeat playback (only by remote control operation) (page 38)
Press the REPEAT key when a track is being played back to select the repeat playback mode.
The mode changes each time the REPEAT key is pressed.
When in the normal playback mode:

A-B repeat playback (only by remote control operation) (page 39)
1 Press the REPEAT key for 2 or more consecutive seconds when a track is being played back.
2 Press the REPEAT key at the point where the repeat mode is to be started.
3 Press the REPEAT key at the point where the repeat mode is to be ended.
÷ The area between the two selected points (maximum of up to 40 seconds) will be played back repeatedly.
÷ Deactivate the random playback/intro game mode and repeat playback mode before activating the A-B repeat
playback mode.
÷ Press the REPEAT key when the A-B repeat playback track is being played back to deactivate the A-B repeat
playback mode.
): Repeats one track.
Repeats all tracks.

Deactivates repeat playback.
): Repeats random playback.
