POWER SOURCE
When using the unit with the rechargeable battery (16 to 17 pages)
1 Open the battery lid.
2 Insert the rechargeable battery, being sure to place it in the proper direction, and close the lid.
3 Connect the plug of the supplied AC adaptor to the DC IN terminal of the recharger.
4 Connect the supplied AC adaptor to a household wall socket.
5 Place the unit on the recharger with the side which has the charge terminal facing downwards.
÷The indicator will go out after about 2.5 hours.
When using the unit with the Commercially sold AA alkaline battery (LR 6) (18 page)
1 Fasten the battery case securely to the unit and turn the LOCK knob in the direction of the arrow.
2 Open the included battery case.
3 Insert the battery in the case, being sure to place it in the proper direction, then close the lid.
