Cleaning
The casing of these appliances can be
cleaned with a commercially available
domestic cleaning agent (non-scour-
ing).
Regularly change the outside air and
extract air filters (see page 30). We
recommend a regular change at least
twice per annum or subject to demand.
Never operate this appliance without fil-
ters.
We recommend that the ventilation
appliance and the air ducts are main-
tained and, if appropriate, cleaned
(annually) by a specialist.

Cleaning the ventilation/extract air valves

1. Light contamination:
Wipe the ventilation air and extract air
valves on the outside with a damp
cloth.
28
We recommend you arrange a mainte-
nance contract with a heating/ventilation
contractor.
Omitting the regular service represents
a risk; regular cleaning and maintenance
give you the assurance that the opera-
tion will be hygienic, environmentally
responsible and energy efficient.
2. Heavy contamination:
Undo the ventilation air and extract
air valves (bayonet fitting), wet-clean
and refit.
Note
Never alter the position of the annular
gap.
