Need help?
Do you have a question about the R-M820AGP4MX and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
my water dispenser no longer working. It will not function when lever is activated. It no longer appears to respond. Model GPG4X-MIR
If the water dispenser of the Hitachi R-M820AGP4MX refrigerator is not functioning when the lever is activated, the following issues should be checked:
1. Child Lock: Check if the "Child Lock" lamp is on. If it is, reset the "Child Lock" function.
2. Tank Empty Lamp: Check if the "Tank Empty" lamp is on. If it is, fill the Water Tank with water up to the "Full" line.
3. Water Tank Position: Ensure the Water Tank is securely pushed into the "Tank Position."
4. Frozen Water: Check if the water in the tank is frozen. If so, set the refrigerator compartment temperature to level 1 or 2 to defrost it.
5. Continuous Use: If the dispenser has been used for more than 1 minute continuously, the system may have temporarily stopped for safety reasons. The "Dispenser Illumination" will flash in this case. To resume use, release the glass from the Dispenser Lever and try again.
Inspecting these points should help identify and resolve the issue.
