Your monitor hardware may not support the Multiple Monitors function.

Certain software applications may not be compatible with Multiple Monitors
settings.

Make sure that your computer does not enter Standby or Hibernate mode while
you are using Multiple Monitors mode, otherwise your computer may not return
to Normal mode.

If you set different colours on each display, do not divide one single window on
two displays, otherwise your software may not work properly.

Set fewer colours or a lower resolution for each display.
Selecting the Multiple Monitors mode
To select the Multiple Monitors mode, proceed as follows:

Click Start, and then Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears.

Click the Appearance and Themes icon.

Click the Display icon.
The Display Properties window appears.

Click the Settings tab.
