What is LATCH?
LATCH consists of lower anchors and a tether anchor, which are built-in
to your vehicle, and a lower anchor attachment and tether that is built-in
to your car seat. The lower anchor attachment is used INSTEAD of the
vehicle's seat belt to secure the child seat to the vehicle. The tether is used
IN ADDITION to the lower anchor attachments OR the vehicle's seat belt to
secure a forward-facing car seat to the vehicle.
Review your vehicle's owner manual for exact location and use.
