Connected devices : Ready For : Use phone with display

For the best video recording experience, connect your phone to the Ready For dock. Position phone in
the dock so that the screen faces you.
Tip: You can remove the fan-cooled phone holder from the Ready For dock stand and attach it to a
third-party tripod.

Connect dock to external display with cable.

Use your phone as a trackpad

In the Camera app, click

Turn on

tracking.

Start recording.
Subject tracking
Subject tracking keep subjects centered in the frame. Subject tracking uses smart software to recognize up
to three faces in the same frame.

Set up video call

in the taskbar. If the taskbar isn't visible, hover the pointer over the bottom edge of the
display.

Turn Subject tracking on.
When Subject tracking is on, Ready For chooses camera sensors automatically. When Subject tracking is
off, and the front or rear camera has multiple sensors, choose which sensor you want to use. Subject
tracking works best when subjects are within 2m from the phone, and within an angle of view up to 107
degrees (when using rear cameras).

Adjust Tracking sensitivity to control how quickly the camera zooms when a subject moves.
5.
Increase the Region of interest to fill more of the field of view with the subject. Decrease the Region of
interest to include more surroundings.
Charge phone while docked
Most external displays with USB-C or HDMI ports charge your phone while in the dock.
If your external display's USB-C ports don't output power (uncommon), connect the display to a powered
USB-C hub, then connect the hub with the dock.
If your external display's HDMI ports don't output power (uncommon), connect the display to a USB-C to
HDMI adapter that has pass-through power,
