DO NOT TOUCH the heating plate during use of the coffee maker or when you finish
using it, or after turning it off or disconnected from the outlet, the heating plate may be
hot after use, wait for it to cool before touching it.

To Clean Your Coffee Maker Using Vinegar:
[01] Pour four cups of undiluted white household vinegar into the water reservoir.
[02] Place the permanent filter into the removable basket and close the lid.
[03] Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Make sure to accurately place the carafe
on the warming plate to avoid the possibility of overflow.
[04] Start the brew cycle.
[05] Push the ''Auto'' button (On/Off) to turn on the coffee maker.
[06] When all the vinegar has flowed into the carafe, turn the coffee maker off by pushing the
''Auto'' button (On/Off) and let the vinegar stand for 30 min (minutes).
[07] Repeat Steps 1 – 6.
[08] Discard the vinegar. Fill the carafe with clean water and pour it into the water reservoir.
[09] Place the carafe on the warming plate and begin the brew cycle.
[10] Discard the water in the carafe and turn the coffee maker off by pushing the ''Auto'' button
(On/Off).
If necessary, repeat steps 8 – 10 to flush all traces of vinegar from the coffee maker.
Hard water can leave a whitish stain on the carafe. Coffee may then turn this stain brown.
[01] Fill the carafe with a solution of equal parts water and vinegar and let the solution stand
in the carafe for approximately 20 min (minutes).
[02] Discard the solution and wash and rinse the carafe.
Do not use harsh abrasive cleansers that may scratch the carafe; scratches may cause the
carafe to break.

STORING YOUR APPLIANCE

Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing. If storing the coffee maker for long
periods of time, make certain that it is clean and free of food particles. Store the coffee maker
in a dry location such as on a table or countertop or cupboard shelf.
