Operating Temperature Ranges
Table 18: Published Operating Temperature Ranges for LG Multi Water Mini Units.
Operation
Entering Water Temperature
Equivalent pipe length distance between water source and indoor units is 25 feet and no elevation difference between water source and
1
indoor units.
Variable water flow control kit (PRVC1) is required for all entering water temperatures (one kit per frame). If entering water temperatures fall below 42°F,
2
glycol must be added to the system.

Additional Refrigerant Charge for Piping Length
Calculations for additional refrigerant charge must take into account piping length.
Product Charge (lbs.)
Length (ft.) of Ø3/8-inch Liquid Pipe
Additional Charge (lbs.) =
Length (ft.) of Ø1/4-inch Liquid Pipe x 0.015 (lbs./ft.)
