POWER SOURCES This unit operates on 120V~ 60Hz or 6 x DC1.5V "C" (UM-2) batteries(not included). Do not attempt to operate the unit on any other power source. You could cause damage to the unit and void your warranty. Please be sure the power outlet you plug this unit into is working and receives constant (unswitched) power.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT When the output sound of this unit becomes distorted or the CD player operation appears unstable, the batteries are weak. You need to replace all the exhausted batteries at the same time as soon as possible to avoid battery leakage. RADIO OPERATION 1.
REPEAT MODE PLAYING A COMMERCIAL CD REPEAT 1: When you first start playing a CD, press the MODE BUTTON (#11) once and “REP” will flash on LCD DISPLAY (#7). The current track playing will now repeat continuously until you stop playback or change the mode.

REPEAT FOLDER (ALBUM): Press the MODE BUTTON (#11) again and “REP ALBUM” appears on the LCD DISPLAY (#7). Repeatedly press the ALBUM (FOLDER) BUTTON (#3) to step through all the available folders and select the folder you want to reply. All tracks in that folder will play in order and will repeat continuously until you stop playback or change the mode.
2. Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR (#23) to BT (Bluetooth) position and “bt” will be flashing on the display. 3. Enable the search or scan feature of your Bluetooth device and select “CD-590” from the list of discoverable Bluetooth devices. 4. Once paired (connected), the “bt” showing on the display will stop flashing and remain on.
NOTES: • Only one playback device may be connected with the CD-590 at one time. If the CD-590 is already connected with a different Bluetooth device, the CD-590 will not appear in the BT selection menu. • If your Bluetooth enabled device does not support A2DP, it will not play the music through the CD-590 system even after it is paired and connected successfully.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE 1. Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperature. 2. Do not tamper the internal components of the unit. 3. Clean your unit with a dry cloth. Solvent or detergent should never be used. 4.
