Staple Unloading
Always disconnect tool from air supply
WARNING
!
before removing staples from magazine.
This avoids the risk of unintentional operation.
Do not disconnect air hose from the tool
WARNING
!
with finger on trigger or work contact
element depressed. The tool can fire when reconnected to
air supply.
1. Disconnect air supply.
2. Pull follower back and confirm that follower lock is
securely lodged in the follower hole on the follower.
3. Grasp the rear of the staple strip and remove from
magazine.
Do not allow the follower to freely recoil.
WARNING
!
Guide the follower by hand until it
reaches its full forward position. Free recoil of the
follower could result in damage to the follower and/or
magazine or your fingers could become pinched.

Depth of Drive Adjustment

The depth with which staples are driven into the work piece
can be adjusted using the depth adjustment on the nose of
the tool, figure 11.
Disconnect the tool from the air source

before making adjustments. Such
precautionary safety measures reduce the risk or
unintentional tool operation.
1. Disconnect tool from air supply.
2. Remove staples from tool as described in the "Staple
Unloading" section of this manual.
3. Adjust tool driving depth:
• To reduce the staple depth, turn the adjustment knob
counter clockwise, see figure 12.
• To drive the staple deeper, turn the adjustment knob
clockwise, see figure 13.
4. Reload staples as described in the "Staple Loading"
section of this manual.
5. Reconnect air supply
Know what is behind your work piece.
!
WARNING
Do not fire staples into walls or floors
without assuring the area on the opposite side is clear.
A staple could travel through the work piece, striking
someone.
