 PERIODIC SERVICE
1. Open the engine cover.
(See Opening and closing the engine cover on
page 95)
(1) Engine cover
(2) Key hole
2. Check the red float.
When the separated water is entering the sediment
cup, the red float moves upwards.
3. When the red float moves upwards, close the
shutoff-valve so that no fuel can run out.
4. Now loosen the drain plug, and drain the water.
IMPORTANT :
• Collect drained water in an oil pan or the
like.
5. Finally, do not forget to open the shutoff-valve after
drain of the water was over.

16. Cleaning the evacuator valve

1. Open the evacuator valve to get rid of large
particles of dust and dirt.

17. Checking the dust indicator

1. If
the
air-cleaner
instrument panel lights up, clean the air-cleaner
element immediately.
