Lifting and Transporting Lifting and Transporting Towing and Moving with Towing Vehicle CAUTION Do not move the trailer with the tower raised. CAUTION NEVER release the jockey wheel or the tongue jack (fixed to the rudder of the trailer) while they are supporting the unit. The machine would tip forward and could cause damage or personal injury.
Lifting and Transporting Handling and Transport with Crane CAUTION Handling by crane is allowed only if the machine is connected to the crane through the lifting eye. 1. Ensure that the lifting capacity of the crane and lifting devices are suited to the weight of the machine to move.
Lifting and Transporting Handling and Transport with Forklift 1. Ensure that the lifting capacity of the forklift is suited to the weight of the machine to move. The weight is specified in the operator’s manual and on the data plate. 2.
Lifting and Transporting Positioning and Uncoupling When choosing a location for the light tower, keep in mind the following: Assess site conditions carefully before positioning and operating the machine. The working area should be relatively level and solid. This will ensure smooth, ...
1. Make sure all loose packaging materials have been removed from the machine. 2. Check the machine and its components for damage. If there is visible damage, do not operate the machine. Contact your Wacker Neuson dealer immediately for assistance.

Operation Because this machine produces carbon monoxide (CO), Wacker Neuson CO Alarms recommends that CO alarms be installed in all structures in close proximity to the machine. CO alarms provide an extra measure of protection against this poison that you cannot see or smell.
Operation Stabilizing the Unit Jack up the unit as follows. Consider that the front outrigger jacks (a) are extendable, while the rear ones (b) are not. wc_gr014721 Extendable outrigger jacks: 1. Hold the outrigger jack with one hand and pull the locking pin to release it. Pull the outrigger jack outwards until it is fully extended and ensure that the locking pin locked it in place securely in the extended position.
Operation Directing and Using the Floodlights The tower can be rotated up to 340 degrees in order to direct the light as required. 1. Release the rotation locking pin (a) and turn the tower using the rotation handles on the mast in order to direct the lights as needed. Remember to lock the rotation afterwards.
Page 32
Operation Continued from the previous page. 7. With the main circuit breaker on, switch each individual circuit breaker for the lights to the ON position, one at a time. 8. Consider that the lamps will take up to 5 minutes to reach operational temperature and lighting levels (valid for metal halide and halogen versions).
Operation Preliminary Check and Starting Before starting and operating the unit, we suggest making the following routine checks for improved safety, better efficiency, longer product life and in order to avoid work disruptions. Check that the machine is leveled correctly and stabilized firmly. ...
Operation Output Socket An optional output socket (a) may be installed on higher power machines so the generator can run external tools and accessories. If your machine is fitted with this option, it provides either 110V or 220V output (depending on version/region). Power is supplied to the socket any time the engine is running and the main circuit breaker is switched to the ON position.
Operation Engine Start and Stop After checking and restoring the engine oil level if necessary, and fueling the unit, Start proceed as follows: Note: If this is the first starting, it is necessary to fuel the unit until the fuel gauge (a) is above the 50% of fuel capacity.
Operation Emergency Shutdown Procedure Every one of our products is fitted with an emergency stop button as standard. It is located on the external panel on the right hand side of the machine. In case of emergency, push the emergency button and it will shut off the engine in a few seconds.
Maintenance Maintenance WARNING A poorly maintained machine can malfunction, causing injuries or permanent damage to the machine. Keep the machine in safe operating condition by performing periodic maintenance and making repairs as needed. Routine Maintenance Any kind of maintenance work on the light tower must be carried out by authorized and trained personnel.
Maintenance Long-Term Storage Extended storage of equipment requires preventive maintenance. Performing Introduction these steps helps to preserve machine components and ensures the machine will be ready for future use. While not all of these steps necessarily apply to this machine, the basic procedures remain the same. Prepare your machine for extended storage if it will not be operated for 30 days or When more.
