    Safety Information Machine Description and Intended Use This machine is a mobile, trailer-mounted light tower. The Wacker Neuson Light Machine description Tower consists of a trailer with a cabinet containing a diesel engine, a fuel tank, a control panel, and an electric alternator. A telescoping tower with four metal halide or LED lights is vertically mounted to the top of the cabinet.

    1. Make sure all loose packaging materials have been removed from the machine. 2. Check the machine and its components for damage. If there is visible damage, do not operate the machine. Contact your Wacker Neuson dealer immediately for assistance.
  • Page 29 Operation Because this machine produces carbon monoxide (CO), Wacker Neuson CO Alarms recommends that CO alarms be installed in all structures in close proximity to the machine. CO alarms provide an extra measure of protection against this poison that you cannot see or smell.

Hold the outrigger jack with one hand and pull the locking pin to release it. Pull the outrigger jack outwards until it is fully extended and ensure that the locking pin locked it in place securely in the extended position.

    Operation Directing and Using the Floodlights The tower can be rotated up to 340 degrees in order to direct the light as required. 1. Release the rotation locking pin (a) and turn the tower using the rotation handles on the mast in order to direct the lights as needed. Remember to lock the rotation afterwards.

    Operation Output Socket An optional output socket (a) may be installed on higher power machines so the generator can run external tools and accessories. If your machine is fitted with this option, it provides either 110V or 220V output (depending on version/region). Power is supplied to the socket any time the engine is running and the main circuit breaker is switched to the ON position.

    Operation Emergency Shutdown Procedure Every one of our products is fitted with an emergency stop button as standard. It is located on the external panel on the right hand side of the machine. In case of emergency, push the emergency button and it will shut off the engine in a few seconds.
