    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Important! To minimize the risk of fire, electric shock or injury: l The appliance becomes hot during operation. When turned off some parts may still be hot for some time. To avoid burns, do not touch the chrome part of the filter holder and other metal surfaces.

  • Page 20 OPERATION Before first use l After unpacking the appliance, make sure that the set includes all the attachments, and if there are no visible signs of damage. l Before first use, wash all parts that come in contact with the coffee in hot water. l Fill the boiler with water before you make coffee for the first time.
  • Page 21 OPERATION l The percolation process can be stopped at any moment by pressing the percolation function switch (Fig. 1 item 2). l After percolation is complete, unscrew the flask from the percolation head by twisting it to the left, while simultaneously holding the body of the appliance with the other hand, then clean the filter under running water.

    IMPORTANT NOTES ON USING THE MACHINE Hints on using the frother function NOTE: When the frother function is active, water from the tank is not pumped to the boiler (whose function is to heat the water). The boiler contains enough water at a time to use the frother function for 5­7 minutes.

Removing deposits from the system will extend the service life of the coffee maker. l Dissolve two teaspoons (approx. 30 grams) of citric acid in one litre of water. l Unplug the appliance and ensure it has cooled down.
