Fuel oil
Ordering heating oil
Observe the burner manufacturer's instructions regard-
ing fuel oil quality.
Depending on the burner selected, the Vitoradial 300-T
is suitable for the combustion of commercially availa-
ble EL fuel oils to DIN 51603-1. Also for fuel oil
DIN 51603-6-EL A Bio 10 (low sulphur blend with up
10 % bio-components).
Fuel oil additives
Fuel oil additives are additives for improving the prop-
erties of the fuel oil.
They improve the storage qualities of the fuel.
They increase the thermal stability of the fuel.
They reduce the formation of odours during filling.
Combustion improvers
Combustion improvers are additives for optimising fuel
oil combustion.
Biofuels
Biofuels are made from vegetable oil, e.g. sunflower or
rapeseed oil.

can answer any questions on the use of fuel oil.

Residues from fuel oil additives can impair the
safe operation of the system.
Use only those fuel oil additives that do not
leave residues.

Biofuels can cause damage to Viessmann oil
burners.
With boilers built in or after 2012, up to 10 %
added bio-components (FAME) are generally
allowed. Fuel oil must comply with
DIN 51603-6-EL A Bio 10.
