7.1 Transport

De lithium-ion-accu's in het product vallen onder de
wettelijke vereisten voor gevaarlijke stoffen. Voor
commercieel transport door derden of expediteurs
moeten de bijzondere voorschriften voor de verpakking
en etiketten worden opgevolgd. Raadpleeg een
deskundige op het gebied van gevaarlijke stoffen over
de voorbereiding van het te verzenden item. Neem
tevens de mogelijk meer gedetailleerde nationale
regelgeving in acht.
Plak open contactoppervlakken af en verpak de accu
zodanig dat deze niet kan bewegen in de verpakking.
Zet het product altijd vast tijdens het transport.

7.2 Winteropslag

To guarantee battery functionality and service life, it is
important to charge the robotic lawnmower before
storing it away for the winter. Place the robotic
lawnmower in the charging station with the hatch open
until the battery icon in the display shows that the
battery is fully charged. Then turn off the robotic
lawnmower by pressing the ON/OFF button. Check that
the indicator lamp on the ON/OFF button is not lit.
Check the condition of wear items such as blades and
bearings in the rear wheel. Rectify if necessary to make
sure the robotic lawnmower is in good condition prior to
next season.
Store the robotic lawnmower standing on all wheels and
place it in a dry, frost-free environment, preferably in the
mower's original packaging. You can also hang the
robotic lawnmower on a GARDENA original wall hanger.

OPGELET: The battery must be charged fully
before winter storage. If the battery is not fully
charged it can be damaged and in certain cases
be rendered useless.
7.2.2 The charging station
It is recommended to store the charging station and
power supply indoors. The boundary wire and the guide
wire can be left in the ground.
1. Disconnect the charging station power supply.
2. Release the connector lock of the power supply, and
pull the connector out.
3. Disconnect the boundary and guide wire connectors
from the charging station.
The ends of the wires should be protected from damp by
putting them in a container with grease for instance.

during the winter. Please, contact GARDENA customer

OPGELET: If the charging station is left
outdoors during the winter, the charging station
must be connected to the mains, the boundary
wire and the guide wires the entire winter.

7.3 Na de winteropslag

1. Controleer of reiniging nodig is; dit geldt met name
voor de laadstrips op zowel de robotmaaier als het
laadstation.
2. Reinig de laadcontacten met fijn schuurlinnen als ze
verbrand of met een laagje bedekt lijken te zijn.
3. Controleer ook of de tijd en datum op de
robotmaaier correct zijn.

7.4 Informatie over het milieu

Het symbool op de robotmaaier van
GARDENA geeft aan dat dit product niet
mag worden verwerkt als huishoudelijk
afval. In plaats daarvan moet de
robotmaaier worden achtergelaten bij een
geschikt recyclingcentrum om de
elektronische componenten en accu's te
recyclen. De accu moet uit het product
worden verwijderd voordat het wordt
verschroot.
Als u ervoor zorgt dat dit product goed wordt verwerkt,
helpt u mogelijk negatieve gevolgen voor het milieu en
mensen door verkeerd afvalbeheer van dit product
tegen te gaan.
Neem voor meer informatie over het recyclen van dit
product contact op met de gemeente, het
afvalverwerkingsbedrijf of de winkel waar u het product
hebt gekocht.

7.5 Accu verwijderen voor recyclen

Om de accu uit de robotmaaier te verwijderen, zie
vervangen op pagina 41 .
