3. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Sanders are used to sand wood and similar products, painted surfaces, metal, stone, etc. There are sanders of
various different shapes in order to do specifi c jobs:
The vibrating sander recommended for sanding fl at surfaces such as doors or furniture.
Move the sander slowly and regularly, in the direction of the wood fi bres.
Machine Description (See fig. 1)
1. Front handle
2. Handle locking clamp
3. Speed control dial
4. ON/OFF trigger switch
5. Soft grip handle
6. Dust bag
7. Sanding pad

4. ASSEMBLY

Fitting sanding sheets
1.
Take self-stick sanding paper of the required grain size and place on the sanding pad (7).
2. Make sure that the perforations in the paper correspond with those on the sanding pad.
WARNING! The sanding paper must be stick fi rmly on disc sanding pad and should not come loose.
Dust extraction
It is recommended that you connect your sander to a vacuum cleaner, or dust extractor, using the dust extraction
port (6). This will signifi cantly reduce the dust in the air around the work area.
It is highly recommended that your wear a suitable breathing mask whenever you operate this machine.
All wood and paint dust is hazardous to health, and some woods are toxic.
Handle adjustment
The front handle (1) can be adjusted to suit the user.
To move the handle, slacken the handle locking clamp (2).
The handle will now be free to pivot. Always retighten the handle locking clamp before use.
Switch on and off
1. To switch on the machine press the switch trigger (4).
2. To switch off the machine, release the switch trigger (4).
3. To switch off continuous mode, release the switch trigger.
4. The operator can adjust variable speed by turning the speed control dial (3).
WARNING! Never use the machine for sanding magnesium work piece.
