When the dash cam is on, the operation indicator is blue; it is
flashing in the process of recording.
When the power supply is connected, and the battery is charging,
the supply indicator is red. When the supply is off, the battery indicator
is off. Both LED and display indicators show the device status.
When connected to a power source, the dash cam automatically
switches to the recording mode and turns on Wi-Fi, pressing the REC/
OK button or switching on Wi-Fi manually is not required.
When the power if off, the dash cam automatically stops recording,
saves the video file and shuts down. Prior (before turning off the
power) manual shutdown is not required. If needed, you can turn off
the dash cam manually by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Note:
The dash cam may work off-line without power supply. The
time of off-line operation depends on the battery status and level.
Advice:
Use recording mode with minimum video clip duration
(1 minute).
The dash cam has protection against loop overwriting of recorded
files. This function is activated automatically by G-sensor or by
pressing the PROTECT button in the video recording mode.
If this function has been activated, the dash cam protects the
current video clip from overwriting. Overwriting protection can be
enabled for a limited number of video files with loop overwriting
occurring within them. The number of protected files is limited to 30%
of the total storage space of the memory card.
Protected files are stored on the memory card in the "CARDV/
MOVIE/RO" folder, whereas current files are saved in the "CARDV/
MOVIE" folder. Photos are stored on the memory card in the "CARDV/
PHOTO" folder.
The sound recording function in the dash cam is turned on by
default. The sound recording function can be switched on and off by
pressing the DOWN button; the current status will be shown on the
dash cam display.
The dash cam has a built-in Wi-Fi module, which is activated
immediately after the device is turned on. It can be quickly turned off
by pressing the UP button once. Wi-Fi can be turned on again using the
UP button or the appropriate item in the device settings.
