S88M/GL is positioned to be the first Main Board product that supports the latest INTEL Chipset Brookdale-GL
technology with DDR DIMM module. As a technology leader in the PC market, S88M/GL stands for not only
the image of the best performance product for Intel's next generation mainstream platform but also a real time
to market product for all customers' demand to win the market entrance advantage.
S88M /GL Main Board, using INTEL Pentium 4 Processor in the 478 Pin package, delivers a mainstream
desktop platform solution.
With INTEL chipsets Brookdale-GL GMCH and ICH4, S88M/ GL provides the processor interface, DDR
(Double Data rate) interface, and HUB interface. The CPU interface supports the INTEL Pentium 4 processor
subset of the Extended Mode of Scalable Bus Protocol. INTEL Brookdale-GL is optimized for the INTEL
Pentium 4 processor and INTEL Northwood processor. It supports double data rate DRAM at 266MHz/
200MHz and front side bus 400. The GMCH contains advanced power management logic.
