SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. Refer to them often and use them to instruct others. PROTECT EYES Wear safety glasses or suitable eye protection when working on or around machinery. PROTECT AGAINST NOISE Prolonged exposure to loud noise can cause impairment or loss of hearing.
Power Switch with Lock Out In the event of incorrect operation or dangerous conditions, the machine can be stopped immediately by pressing the Power Switch paddle downward. Remove the yellow lock key to prevent the machine from starting. Note: Resetting the Power Switch WILL start the machine. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Wood working can be dangerous if safe and proper operating procedures are not followed.

2. Only trained and qualified personnel should operate this machine. 3. Make sure guards are in place and in proper working order before operating machinery. 4. Remove any adjusting tools. Before operating the machine, make sure any adjusting tools have been removed. 5.
20. Inspect power and control cables periodically. Replace if damaged or bare wires are exposed. Bare wiring can kill! 21. Maintain machine in top condition. Keep clean for best and safest performance. Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. 22. Reduce the risk of unintentional starting. Make sure switch is in “OFF” position before plugging in power cord.
UNPACKING AND CHECKING CONTENTS Your Baileigh machine is shipped complete. Separate all parts from the packing material and check each item carefully. Make certain all items are accounted for before discarding any packing material. WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD! Immediately discard any plastic bags and packing materials to eliminate choking and suffocation hazards to children and animals.
TRANSPORTING AND LIFTING NOTICE: Lifting and carrying operations should be carried out by skilled workers, such as a truck operator, crane operator, etc. If a crane is used to lift the machine, attach the lifting chain carefully, making sure the machine is well balanced. Follow these guidelines when lifting with truck or trolley: •...
• LEVELING: The machine should be sited on a level, concrete floor. Provisions for securing it should be in position to prevent the machine from moving inadvertently. • POWER SUPPLY PLACEMENT: The power supply should be located close enough to the machine so that the power cord is not in an area where it would cause a tripping hazard.

ASSEMBLY AND SET UP WARNING: For your own safety, DO NOT connect the machine to the power source until the machine is completely assembled and you read and understand the entire instruction manual. 1. Use the Open Wrench (NO.48) to secure the Base (NO.28) and Wheels (NO.27).

3. Tighten the Wheels (NO.27) under the drum (NO.46) into the thread nuts. See FIG. 2 Fig. 2 4. Using an assistant, Lift up the Main Housing (NO.18v1), then place on the Stand (NO.25). Using the Flange Bolt Screw 5/16” x 1/2” (NO.24) to tighten together.

5. Place and secure the Main Housing (NO.18v1) and Cone (NO.32) with Cone Clamp (NO.30) and Hex Screw (NO.31). See FIG. 4. Fig. 4 6. Assemble Handle (NO.65v1) inside the Canister Filter (NO.52v1) and tighten with Set Screw 5/16”x3/4” (NO.64) and Nut 5/16” (NO.63). See FIG.

7. Assemble the Canister filter (NO. 52v1) on the Main Housing (NO.18v1) and tighten with Flange Bolt Screw 5/16”x3/4” (NO.8) and Nut 5/16” (NO.90). See FIG. 6 Fig. 6 8. Assemble Inlet Adaptor (NO.20) on Main Housing (NO.18v1) and tighten with Phillips Head Screw 3/18”*3/8”...

10. Assemble and tighten Hose (NO.38) on Cone (NO.32) and Drum lid (NO.39) with Hose clamp (NO.37). See FIG. 8 Fig. 8 11. Put the PE Bag (NO. 85) into the Drum (NO. 46) first, then placed the inner frame inside the PE bag in order to press the bag down.

ELECTRICAL CAUTION: HAVE ELECTRICAL UTILITIES CONNECTED TO MACHINE BY A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN! Check if the available power supply is the same as listed on the machine nameplate. WARNING: Make sure the grounding wire (green) is properly connected to avoid electric shock. DO NOT switch the position of the green grounding wire if any electrical plug wires are switched during hookup.
• Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in risk of electric shock. The conductor with insulation having an outer surface that is green with or without yellow stripes is the equipment-grounding conductor. If repair or replacement of the electric cord or plug is necessary, do not connect the equipment-grounding conductor to a live terminal.
